Noumanat is a lovely secluded house up a private grass driveway in the heart of the beautiful Mosset Valley.
So near and yet so far from civilisation, you will feel lost in the serenity of rural French Catalunya and the simplicity of mountain valley life, immersed in nature.
Nearby villages of Mosset and Molitg provide local amenities and excellent restaurants and bars. The famous thermal baths at Molitg les Bains offer a range of health and spa treatments and is only a couple of minutes drive from the house. Canyoning is also is very popular at Molitg due to the deep gorge and fast flowing Castellane river.
There are fabulous walks surrounding Noumanat and electric mountain bikes are for rent in Mosset so both fantastic ways to explore the valley. Great walking areas are also found further up the valley at the Col de Jau and equally in the local ski areas (45 minutes drive away).
The Little Yellow Train departs from the historic fortified Vauban designed village of Villefranche de Conflent (15 minutes). This narrow gauge railways weaves its way up over 1000m through the Tet valley gorge to the high plains of the Cerdagne. A stunning day out and well worth doing.
The beaches of the Mediterranean are a 45 minute drive away and the Spanish border less than an hour. Barcelona is an hour and 40 minutes drive so ideal for an overnight fix of city life.
The vibrant city of Perpignan is 40 minutes away and has the nearest TGV link and airport to Noumanat. Carcassonne, Bezier, Montpellier and Gerona airports are also within easy reach. Ryanair flies to all of them.

A car is necessary when staying at Noumanat due to the remote setting.
Noumanat has a private driveway and ample parking for up to 6 cars.
The local bus stops close to the bottom of the drive so it is possible to come and go that way - it's just takes a bit of planning.
