A beautiful cottage with old world charm & modern comforts. R&R were inevitable. I found the entrance right on the street to be somewhat daunting, but there was no need for concern - my stay was peaceful. I would definitely recommend this property. Hosts were very responsive & helpful - especially on realising that I had left something behind after checkout. Items were personally delivered within the day.

Comfortable stay in a good location (very close to the university), walkable into the main town with a nice back garden to enjoy the sunshine. We had some issues with the WiFi on arrival but Madelyn & team were very proactive in trying to fix it, which we appreciated. Lacks a few basic amenities in our opinion - particularly if you intend to braai or cook in the property (which we did).

Das Rynveldt Cottage ist eine wunderbare großzügig gestaltete Wohnung auf 2 Etagen. Sehr sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet, mit allem was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Ein abgeschlossener Parkplatz kann benutzt werden. Der Ceheck-in & Check-out gestalteten sich unkompliziert. Sehr schnelle und gute Kommunikation. Wir würden gern wiederkommen.

Great location for the central town and easily accessible. Load shedding was never an issue with the back-up available. Perfect!

It is a nice little house with a nice architectural style. Good amenities (air conditioning both upstairs and downstairs), nice shower, nice bed, also a toilet downstairs, basic kitchen). The center is within walking distance, there is a lot to do in the area. The kitchen has basic amenities, but we missed some stuff. For example, we bought a decent knife. The bedroom cannot be darkened, the side windows cannot be covered. We made the room dark by hanging garbage bags. We found, compared to other cottages we booked in this area, the price was fairly high. Although, of course, we were there during the high season (late December).
