Alessandro was a great host. The apartment was clean and very well maintained. A little damp, but given that it is a basement apartment, it was expected. Hot water was a small issue - long time for the water to heat up, then not enough hot water for two showers. Totally enjoyed our stay - it was a wonderful place.

Alessandro is an amazing host and always responsive at all times of the day. We were late to check in due to some flight issues and Alessandro was very accommodating. The space requires keys for all the doors so he has to meet you at checkin and checkout but again he was very flexible to our timings. Location is fantastic for a first time visitor to Rome. We were able to walk to all attractions and never felt like we needed a bus or taxi. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants around the corner in the back alleys which get very lively at night! My only negative points was 1) the noise. Be weary if you're a light sleeper as you'll hear cars, chatter, sirens, and even neighbours coming in and out of the building. 2) moisture. We had some severe rainstorms during our stay and we noticed that the "windows" accumulated a lot of moisture around the frames. Great stay otherwise and would happily recommend the space!
