Get away from it all when you stay in this charming rural setting providing everything that you need to relax and/or entertain. Situated between the country villages of Dungog, Stroud and Stroud Hill all within 35 minutes of the M1 highway via the Buckets Way. Suited to single or multiple families it provides large open spaces for games and bushwalking, covered entertaining, trampoline, fire pit, internal combustion fire, slip n slide, biking and spa all as you enjoy the natural surrounds. The log cabin style home provides a traditional ambience suited to families comfortably sleeping 8 people. If you enjoy getting outdoors and bush walking, Akaburra has plenty to explore and do. We have a large dam which is perfect for picnics a 20m slip n slide and flying fox (over the dam) for the kids, walking/bike tracks which traverse the property and a ring road which allows you to explore all corners of the 42 acres which accesses the seasonal creek. We are surrounded by one of the areas largest cattle farms. Our aim is to provide an offering that in its traditional sense, is a home away from home providing all the necessities, warmth and comfort you find and create at home with family and friends.

It’s a great peaceful location in middle of the bush. Beautiful towns and cafes are just. Shot drive way. Great for relaxing and tuning off from the busy life.

This place was phenomenal! The property is super private and expansive. We had an amazing time using the slip and slide + the zip line into the water :) super fun. The property in the early morning was something out of a dream, I pinch myself thinking back on it like WOWZA. The evenings in the hot tub were just 👌 I can’t think of a better place to stay. So many things to do on the property, you’ll never get bored. Thanks Andrew for letting us stay at your amazing home, it felt like a place that has been loved by a family, we are very grateful. Also that horse is so friendly, our 8 month old couldn’t stop smiling!
Beautiful stunning country get away in a charming rustic farmhouse. We stayed for the Easter weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The cherry on the top of course was the spa tub, overlooking the gardens. We highly recommend Andrew’s farm stay home.
We loved the stay at the place. Such a peaceful and clean environment. Mostly our dog enjoyed the space .Looking forward to coming back. Was better than in photos.
