Take it easy at this unique beachfront guesthouse and tranquil getaway. Clean, comfortable and colorful; the room offers a full sized bed, counter space and private toilet. No shared Kitchen. Fans, mosquito net. Free bikes. The property features beautiful paintings and colorful whimsical art made locally. Many of it is also for sale! -The owner is an artist and chef who offers family style dinners every day and other food through out the day upon request. Try her delicious home-made bread! The room is very colorful on the first floor, beach level, in the main house . It has a fan and mosquito net. Looks out to the sea, sunrise and moon sets can be seen from the 2 large windows, great breeze. . The entrance is literally the beach, we do our best to keep it clean but please understand you might find sand in the bedroom floor room. So dip your feet in the foot bath. . The private bathroom has a colorful mexican sink and toilet, the shared hot water shower is outside the room.

The Kismet has a uniquely home feeling! You feel right at home with the locals and get to enjoy the true Belizean way! Trish and Elvis are wonderful hosts we will be booking again with them very soon!! 10/10 recommend

After a misunderstanding in our booking we visited Tricia and we feel we want to recommend it to everyone! The place is way better that the pictures, all furniture is home made and painted, you can see the love in the making and when there it feels like being home. If you’re looking for a resort with AC it’s not the place for you, but if you like authentic and local this is the place to go in Hopkins. A bit funky, a bit hippie, clean and cared for. Wish we could stay here longer!
Kismet Inn is not the stay for everyone, but for the right kind of person (myself included) it is a wonderful time. When I visited Tricia was out of the country, so I had Avette as my host who was absolutely incredible in every way. if you're looking for a traditional or luxury stay there are plenty to be had just down the road. Here there's no A/C, sand has invaded every crevice, and the shower is shared and outdoors (surrounded by walls.) I personally have no issues with these things, but I know others might. This place is filled with unique charm, definitely one of the most memorable parts of my trip.

Hopkins people are a garifuna culture. They drum all the time, a way of having fun and communicating to the people.
We offer free bikes to shop, eat at local places, to explore.
The Hopkins bus comes north 4 lanes away twice a day to Dangriga at 7am and 2pm, returns at 10am and 5pm
