Beautiful, quiet house with well stocked kitchen and amenities! Host was very responsive and welcomed us with a delicious loaf of bread!

We had a wonderful stay at the Millstone House. The owner was there to greet us and showed us around. The house was as advertised, with no surprises. The location is on a 2-lane US Highway within the Washington National Forest, so it's both secluded and accessible. It's within convenient distance to the sights in Staunton and the Shenandoah area, and also for forays into West Virginia along some beautiful, winding mountain roads. The house itself is charming and well-appointed. Everything worked as it should, and the kitchen was well-supplied. As mentioned in the description, there is no cell service (not just at the house but in much of the surrounding area), so warn your family. Also as mentioned in the description, there is no TV, but the WiFi is good, so stream something on your laptop if TV is a must. The highest compliment we can give is that if we're ever back in the area, we won't bother looking anywhere else for accommodations.

Charming and comfortable with well-stocked kitchen. While we had no cell phone coverage the WiFi kept us connected. Host was wonderful and made us feel welcome. When the restaurant reopens next door it will be an added plus.

If you’re in the area for a weekend stay I would recommend this place. Vintage vibes and a very peaceful area. I would note there’s no tv and cell service, but GREAT WiFi. Also nice little snacks left there, so if you have kids, they’ll enjoy.
