Great place absolutely loved it, totally peaceful and what a view to wake up to in the morning. Lisa and Bob were great and really friendly, as are the dogs! Will definitely be back.

What a fabulous stay at the Summerhouse lodge. We can’t praise this wonderful peaceful private by the lake stay enough. Lisa greeted us when we arrived and gave us lots of information. Bob who lives in the house could not do enough for us, always on hand and so lovely. The Lodge had everything we needed in it and we had a few lovely bbq’s outside. So back to nature with lovely countryside and walks. The lake had a raft on it, which we all enjoyed drifting around the lake and having fun. We will certainly be booking up again this year, hoping to book one of the other places to stay as there are 4 on the glamping site. It is very private and our 2 dogs just wandered around having fun by the lodge. It’s a great get away place to stay and relax and unwind.

Stayed for two nights over Christmas. The summer house is in a beautiful setting on a lake with plenty of outside space. Everything you need for a short stay exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable. The shower is amazing and cooking facilities are great with a convector microwave and two hobs. Definitely recommend and will be staying again
