Inspired by the seven-acre lake found on the Peplow Hall estate, Heron is a charming three-bedroom cottage styled in rich sapphire blue, deep turquoise, and soft mustard tones. Drawing in an abundance of natural light, the windows from the cottage provide sweeping rural views of the local scenery. Heron House can sleep up to five people. Discover Heron Cottage The striking accent wall in the open-plan kitchen/dining area is undoubtedly the hallmark feature of Heron Cottage. Here, guests can sit around the dining table to enjoy breakfast or host an intimate dinner party whilst admiring the beautiful heron mural. Downstairs, you will also find a cosy living area with a traditional wood-burning fireplace, a pleasant spot to unwind with a good book in the evening. Heron House has three bedrooms, all located on the first floor. Combining a beautiful blend of deep blue and soft mustard tones, the master bedroom features a king-size bed and a dressing table area. The second bedroom features a double bed, whilst the third smaller bedroom contains a single bed. The bathroom comprises of a separate large shower, roll-top bath, sink and wc.

Our stay at Heron Cottage was absolutely amazing. We wanted to treat our parents to a weekend away and it was perfect. Helen is a great host, the whole family are so warm and welcoming, you feel right at home. The estate is amazing, great local walks around the ground, beautiful surroundings. The Cottage was lovely, everything was so well thought out, amenities were impeccable, we honestly couldn't fault anything. We had a great stay and would love to go back! It's an ideal little weekend get away.
We had a fantastic weekend in Heron Cottage. The cottage itself is pristine and has been renovated to the highest standard. We enjoyed a walk around the lake and grounds and took advantage of the lovely garden and hot tub. We’d definitely recommend.
Another perfect weekend at Peplow. This place has something very special, to start with the cottages are beautiful and have been refurbished to a very high standard, the grounds themselves are vast and extremely relaxing and quiet. We were there with our children who loved exploring the estate and gardens. And the hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful! This was our second visit to Peplow and I’m sure we will be back again.
A weekend away with a friend in this beautiful little gem of a cottage. The listing is very accurate but at the same time it is even nicer in real life. Absolutely immaculate and super clean with lots of lovely touches that made us feel very at home. We enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay here and would certainly like to return.
Such a beautiful tranquil place to stay. Also great if you have large groups as there are multiple cottages on the estate. The cottage we stayed in was very clean and has been renovated to a high standard. There are also options to add breakfast and food packages. We loved our weekend away and recommend to others.
