We had a wonderful time. The beds were very comfortable and the photos (beautiful as they are) don’t do the location or the warm feeling you get as soon as you walk in the door justice. Paul and Ian are kind, helpful hosts who had great recommendations and were very responsive if we had any questions. We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. Especially the lovely evening we spent together sharing life stories and learning about their commitment to the local community. We loved the off the beaten path of the location. It was easy to get to but the furthest thing from touristy. Easy drive to Florence or the other major Tuscan sites but we loved the small, less known towns most. This is truly an authentic Tuscan experience. We can’t wait to come back :)

Paul and Ian were gracious hosts who were attentive but at the same time respectful of our privacy. Paul’s homemade biscotti and other treats were waiting for us upon our arrival. We arrived late so this was very much appreciated. The property is absolutely breathtaking with the tastefully decorated apartments, outdoor lounging area with a stunning view, dining al fresco, beautiful swimming pool and vineyard. Day trips to the nearby Anghiari took 5 minutes by car and a day trip for wine tasting in Montalcino was wonderful. We visited the Michael Angelo Museum and tried out some of the restaurants recommended by our hosts. We had the most enchanting time and would love to visit again. Plans to further enhance the property will make this an even more remarkable holiday destination.

Ian et Paul ont été des hôtes très sympathiques, avec plusieurs petites attentions durant le séjour. Lieu paisible, logement de très grande qualité, nous sommes ravis. De beaux projets sont en cours pour cet endroit. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour les découvrir en temps voulu! :)

Podere Le Corticelle is everything you could want from a true Tuscan experience. The Villa was impeccable! The exquisite styling, quality furnishings, comfort of beds and linen, unbelievable views of the hills and garden pool area- to the lovely hosts and their beautiful dogs. This place is truly blissful and one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in. I would rate it 7 stars if I could. Our group of five adults had a relaxing 6 nights and indulged in the local foods and wine. Ian and Paul made sure we were stocked with wines from the local region and recommended excellent restaurants in the town of Anghiari and surrounding area. Thank you Ian and Paul. We wish you both all the best and hope to visit again.

I cannot recommend Podere le Corticelle enough. My husband and I had the pleasure of spending 2 weeks here. As others have mentioned, the photos don’t do it justice. The apartment was larger than expected, architecturally beautiful, very comfortable and oozing with charm. Every element has been considered with care, and there are no shortage of details to appreciate. The property is a stunner, with impressive views and several seating and lounging areas. We enjoyed many meals outdoors, and loved relaxing by the pool and in the hammock area. Anghiari is a delightful town and we visited the center several times. We also went further afield to see different Tuscan towns. The scenery on all our drives was gorgeous, and most places we visited were within an hour’s drive. Finally, Ian and Paul were wonderful. They are generous, kind and thoughtful hosts. We had great conversations, and our interactions are certainly part of what made our holiday so memorable.
