Overall the place was nice, quite small living room and no dining table despite the hefty price tag expected more space. Paid extra for this place for a functioning jacuzzi yet only the jets worked and the jacuzzi does not get hot which was a huge bummer.

Diego and Silvia are lovely hosts, very helpful, kind, and responsive. What I was looking for in a stay was somewhere peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable, where we could chill out for the rest of our time in Costa Rica. The property was smaller than I expected, and it felt claustrophobic. The jacuzzi overlooked a road (so no privacy), and the garden needs a fair amount of landscaping (too much grass and not enough trees to feel like you’re sitting in a jungle with the wildlife). There was a hammock mentioned in amenities, which gave me an impression it would be lovely to sit outdoors, but it was missing, and there wasn’t a lot to see out there anyway. It had a feel of a new build, without the extras to make it feel like a home (no books, bedside tables, etc), but the washing machine was a big positive. We ended up paying a fortune to spent our last day at the hot springs so we could feel comfortable and relaxed in beautiful surroundings.

The house is great for a peaceful stay. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the iguanas and cows. Comfortable beds, good Internet access. Kitchen and living room are small but workable.
