This cottage is a beautiful, cozy getaway. The cottage is very well equipped, and was a great place to unwind by the fire. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the location is great, very close to a provincial park and conservation for great hikes. Madeline was very communicative. We would definitely consider going back again.

Spent a very relaxing weekend at Madeline’s cottage. Very peaceful location by beautiful Six Mile Lake, our entire group had a good time! Thank you Madeline :)

Check in was really easy and we even were able to check in early. The space was nice and the water was beautiful. It was also in a nice location with it being near the highway and only 30 minutes away from Bala. They had an excellent spot for cliff jumping a quick 10 minute swim away. However, we were left without propane for the barbecue and no water left in the water jug. The cottage was overall decently clean but definitely needed a deep dusting or vacuum. There is next to no cell service up there which isn't an issue but would be nice to have a couple bars here and there in case of emergency . The set of neighbours on the right of the cottage were great and friendly where as the man on the left often stared at us while we were on the dock with the 4 girls we vacationed with. We were able to have a great time regardless of some other hiccups. Lots of great memories were made.
