Lovely place to stay, comfortable and well-stocked with what one might need. Mike and Lin were very responsive and helpful. It is in a little village surrounded by other houses quite close by, but still felt pretty secluded and woodsy. Very convenient location, close to fun places to visit.

We had an amazing time and Mike was an incredible host. We brought our two month old daughter and Mike and his co-host had thoughtful suggestions on how to keep the baby warm at night and how to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The front porch was surprisingly private and perfect for meals and reading. I’d stay here again for sure.

Had a great stay! Did a concert at Bethel Woods, and the property is very close to the venue (maybe a 10 min drive, if that). The cottage itself was clean, peaceful, and spacious. Great outdoor space for relaxing. Hosts are friendly. Would stay here again if I’m ever back in the area!

We loved our stay at the cabin in Smallwood! We wanted a weekend getaway where we could be comfortable homebodies just relaxing and enjoying family time but also wanted to be near nature but also wanted to have yummy restaurants to go to for dinner. Somehow this place managed to tick all of those boxes! Overall it is a beautiful little home in a unique area.

Mike’s cabin was beautiful, spotless, and had every amenity listed (including a solo bonfire pit, which was very special). He was not only responsive to our messages, but had amazing local recommendations as well. The cabin was the perfect combination of cozy and modern, and the surrounding community/wooded area was very peaceful. I would come back without a doubt, and would recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy getaway (with plenty to do within 30, 10, or even a 5 minute drive!)
