Our favorite stay of our week vacation. Great location and very cozy. Right next to a creek which was awesome.

We drove 8.5hrs to get to the Geodome and once we got there we were quick to say it was worth every minute of that drive. It was just as peaceful and beautiful as the photos showed. We had planned to do a lot of hiking while visiting and we tons of good hike options within 5-40min of the dome. Besides the idea of finishing a big hike with a nice hot tub soak was amazing. This Geodome allowed us to have the relaxing and reconnecting trip we needed.

If we could give more than a 5 star rating for the dome at Tyler's place, we would. It was an extra special stay given that we were there for the total solar eclipse. Tyler and Katie served us up some delicious milled cider for this rare event. We didn't have to do more than bring our stream side chairs to the other side of the dome to have front row seats! What a location this is on an ordinary day. The dome walking distance to Smuggs, with plenty of spots to explore for hikers like us. The inside of the dome has everything you'll need. The propane heater kept us toasty in below freezing temps at night. The mattress was comfortable. The fridge and other extras were unexpected and added convenience in this great glamping spot. Tyler was warm, attentive and communicative. He went out of his way to be sure all our needs were met. We're superhosts ourselves, so we hold a high bar of expectation. Our only regret is we live 5 hours away. Don't hesitate to book-you'll have a great time!
