Our love for travel has taken us to many places in the world, where we have had the opportunity to explore and enjoy culture, food, music and lifestyle different to our own. Because of this, and experiencing a variety of rooms, hotels + apartments, we have channeled our creative flare into making our home a place that; if we were traveling and booked; would be one that suited all our needs and comforts. As a couple our best evenings are spent with dimmed lights, a warm fire, some red wine and great home cooked food, while listening to Beach House, Wild Belle, Camille + Angus and Julia Stone drone through the speakers. We are foodies! We love eating unique foods that take us back to our travel memories. In our Valley we are fortunate to have a slew of AMAZING restaurants. Phat Thai, our local Thai Fusion restaurant leaves your tastebuds wanting more, while their cocktails are reasonable and punchy. If you like spice, try the Tigerita. If you're more into the hiking, biking, skiing and boarding side of things, no worries, we are too! While our version of biking is leisurely riding along the Rio Grande bike path just minutes from our apartment, its not to be missed during the spring, summer + fall months. We spend many a days (year round) frequenting local hiking spots in the area- there are tons! For a quick and convenient hike, try Mushroom Rock. The views won't disappoint. And if you don't know it, Carbondale is situated just 30 minutes from some of the best skiing and boarding mountains EVER! Riding is what keeps us going through the Winter months. After whatever activity it is we chose to engage in, a good happy hour never seems to disappoint. Try Zanes Tavern for EPIC WINGS, or Roaring Fork Brewing Company for great local beer. Enjoy!
