Full kitchen and dining area with cozy couch, where you can enjoy cozy evenings all year round. Our outdoor kitchenette and dining area is perfect for your summer stay at Mike's Place. Air-conditioning for the hot summer days, and wood burning heaters for the cozy winter days. Our place is perfect for short and long stays. Welcome to Samos! Mike’s Place is beautiful, peaceful stone house on the beach, with large patio with table that seats up to 6, with swing, outdoor kitchenette, laundry room and unique shower. As you walk in our place, you enter our cozy living room with full kitchen, where you can enjoy your breakfasts on rainy days, or read a nice book from our library, play a board game or just sit back and watch our 32inch smart tv. From there you can enter the master bedroom with most comfortable double bed. Or our second bedroom with two single beds (possible to be made into one king size bed) Our place has one bathroom with shower, towel rack, seat, toilet with bidet shower and unique sink with mirror and storage room. You can park your car in the back of the building. So that it is protected from the sea salt. And also to be out of your view. You can enter the house also with a back door, if you need to. Enter the beach with our comfy stone steps, and enjoy your coffee under the tree with the best view of the Aegean sea. You can walk on the beach all the way to Ormos port in about 10 minutes. Right on the stone beach, just 1 km East of Ormos on the south West part of Samos, the 2 rooms house seems brand new; it is very clean, the kitchen is well equipped and there is parking spot for a car. Wi-Fi is working well. The 3 AC are useful if staying inside during daytime. There are also a washing and sunbeds in an external closet, an external shower, a big table and a rocking chair under a thatched roof. The owner Mike is wife are very kind and ready to help.
Petit coin de paradis. Tout était parfait. L'emplacement de la maison sur une plage préservée de l'île, très calme, peut-être la seule plage non-ornagisée de l'île. Il n'y a dans les alentours que quelques habitations des gens du coin. Il n'y a pas plus proche à la mer ! La maison en elle même est entièrement rénovée avec goût et a tous les conforts (climatisation, double vitrage), elle est très propre et agréable à vivre. Nous y reviendrons!
Beautiful place, definitely to come back! The house was exactly as described, clean, well organized and with a stunning sea view. Mike and his wife were very helpful before and during our stay by, for example, arranging for us a car to drive around the island. I highly recommend visiting Samos and its fantastic beaches by staying at Mikes place!

Mike’s Place is in nature. Right on the beach.
The neighborhood is pretty quiet and peaceful. It is farming area very near to Ormos port and village as well as Koumeika village.
Roads near the place are “dirt roads” in good condition, so any car can arrive safely to the house.
There is plenty to see “on foot” around, if you enjoy nature, some architecture, some history and hikes.
You can walk and explore near by beaches and villages.
But we always recommend to rent a vehicle for at least few days, to be able to comfortably explore the whole island.
Samos is pretty large, and unfortunately when it comes to buses, they are not as officiant as we wish they would be.
There is one bus early in the morning that takes you to Karlovassi town. From there you can catch buses to other places on Samos .
But to get back, you need to catch bus back from Karlovassi at 13:20, which will take you back to Ormos Marathokampos.
It is worth it to rent a bicycle, scooter, quad, motorcycle or a car (small, jeep, suv, automatic and more available)

My name is Mike. I have lived on Samos island for most of my life. We run our family studios - Jimmy's Place and vacation houses - Dimitri’s Place, Konstantino’s Place and Mike’s Place as well our restaurant Pizza Cave with my wife Karolina, who is originally from Prague, Czechia. In the Pizza Cave I have selection of a musical instruments, which I lend to musicians, because I just enjoy music and ice cold beers. We hope to meet some of Airbnb peeps here in Ormos Marathokampos and share a drink and some good stories with you. We both wish you safe travels! :)
