We like Kungsbacka for its proximity to Gothenburg in combination with a quieter and more nature- and sea-close accommodation where all services are available. Some favorites are old Kungsbacka town, Kungsmässan shopping center, Hede Outlet, ICA Kvantum, Kungsbacka bath house, Nordic Wellness fitness & gym, padel court, and golf courses. Don't miss a visit to Tjolöholm Castle, Bräutigam's chocolate and ice cream factory, Spinneriet in Lindome, Hjälmared's cafe & orchard trade, and a dip in the sea, for example in Särö or at Vallda hamn. Tourist information is available in the nearby library "Fyren".
The Kattegat trail invites you to cycle tours and with the train you can easily travel along the coast both south and north. There is also the Sandsjöbacka nature reserve here for those who like to hike.

Most and most important services, sports and leisure facilities as well as shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. From Kungsbacka station, buses depart for nearby areas and trains north towards Gothenburg and south towards Copenhagen and Kastrup airport.
By bike or car you can reach further nearby areas such as the Hede shopping area with, among other things, the Hede Outlet. There are also many nice sea bathing and walking areas.
Tourist information is available in the library, called the Lighthouse". Kungsbacka emergency hospital is 500 m away. Forsbacka Golf Club is also approx. 500 m away.
