We enjoyed our stay at Vanessa’s. I feel it met our expectations and the location was amazing. They have charging stations for EVs, so we rented one and they are AWD and easy to get around in the mountains. This little motel is truly a hipster paradise. It has the vintage charm of what was with caring about the modern necessities of today. They are doing upgrades daily so I still expect more changes to come, even though it was perfect the way it was. The outdoor space we didn’t get to experience much but watched people sitting out there peacefully eating cheese and crackers with their wine, or reading. It was very quiet and each day we were offered clean towels and to freshen up our room. West Cliffe is an absolute gem of a town, with points of interest in all directions that are accessible, and not to mention the drive anywhere felt like minutes. We could walk to the bluffs to star gaze, we could walk to every restaurant in town, and some of the best coffee we have had. Must stay!

The owners are actively improving the property with updated furniture, linens, and amenities like microwave and fridge. We are extremely familiar with this facility as we owned it over 40 yrs ago! they are making nice improvements. There's still a lot to do but they have a good plan for improvements.
