Newburgh · 袖珍小屋 · 1室0床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Just Around the Corner Cabin
This glamping experience is nestled in the village of Newburgh, this new bunkie is 30 minutes from downtown Kingston and 15 minutes from Napanee and 40 minutes from Picton. Sit on the deck in the morning with a cup of steaming coffee and listen to the abundance of birds who are also happy to be in Newburgh. It is conveniently across the road from the Cataraqui Trail. The well-maintained, beautiful trail is ideal for nature-enthusiasts who enjoy hiking, cycling or jogging. There are narrow stairs that lead to the bedroom loft. Please make sure you use the handrail for extra safety.
Cute place with everything you need + some extras. Loved the option/offer of coffee and a microwave. If we had stayed longer we may have considered using the BBQ on the front deck.
Wonderdul and beautiful tiny house with everything you need… and more! Matt was very responsive, we arrived very late (was driving from Pearson airport to Mtl) and he even offered to contact him no matter what time. We didn’t need to because everything was clear, working and perfect. Even left some cookies for the dog, poop bags, a beautiful welcome board, coffee, chocolates. Wow!!! I hope we could have stayed a week!!!! This is a charming tiny house, extremely comfy, cosy and very quiet. Was very hard to get out of bed. Thank you so much for everything. You are golden hosts.
A remote rural location off the beaten track. Your staying in a bunkie which is quite the experience, i had followed the Bunkie manufacturers on Insta for a few years but I never taught been from Ireland that I would ever get a first hand experience of living in a Bunkie (10 foot by 10 foot cabin with a loft) . Everything you need is provided plus lots more (Tylenol, bamboo toothbrushes ). You will also more than likely have your first encounter with an incinerator toilet which just adds to the overall experience. We only stayed for one night which is not enough to go exploring the area we used it as a way to break up the long journey from Montreal to Niagra Falls. We visited the local bakery and seen the waterfall on the trail but there are lots more things we could have done if we had more time. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and obviously enjoy their role. If you like a glamping experience away from the hustle and bustle this is tye ideal spot.
We have a yummy, bakery/ice cream/pizza shop in the heart of Newburgh. Across the road is, on every other Saturday, is The Hollow Market Square for showcase of local talents.
Not far from the market is the Newburgh Falls that hosts many kinds of wildlife and is a great photo opportunity.
If you forgot to bring something with you, at the top of the hill there is a convenience store and gas station.
Most everything is within walking distance in Newburgh. If you would rather drive, parking is free and easy to find.
自我介绍
I was born and bred in Nova Scotia, but am now settled in the quiet, quaint village of Newburgh. My dream one day is to have a multi-room Airbnb on the shores of Newfoundland while I sit on the deck with my hubbie, knitting and taking deep breaths of the salt air. I think that sums me up pretty good.
