An excellent place to stay, ideally situated for both Lancaster city centre, the university and north Lancashire/the Lakes. The apartment was exactly as described in the listing, very clean and comfortable. Communications with Hazel the host were excellent both before and during my stay. Would thoroughly recommend.

Was a really lovely place to stay, matched the listings description perfectly. Would highly recommend for anybody coming up to visit the university as it is very accessible. Hazel and Phil were lovely hosts and easy to communicate with. Would recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Hazel’s place. A beautiful apartment in a lovely old building. It was very comfortable and welcoming and we appreciated the biscuits, milk, coffee, tea and other ingredients left in the well equipped kitchen. Also the toiletries in the bathroom. The bed is really comfortable. It’s very close to the centre of Lancaster with restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets nearby. It is easy to drive to the Lake District from there, we visited Holker Hall, Grange-over-Sands and saw the Osprey at Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserve. Hazel’s communication is excellent. We will definitely stay again, thanks Hazel and Phil.

i agree, its a little gem of a place, friendly, warm comfy , bright, welcoming,you didn't need to pack your toiletries, everything was there, down to the travel toothbrush, we was going to our son's wedding and need a place for 2 nights, and this was excellent, 20/10 and more, lovely old building, great bed, and at the very last minute my mum ended up staying and hazel could not have been more understanding, mum slept better on the put me up bed then she had done for 2 yrs, brill lady, thank you so much and will use again, well recommend, thanks once again kath and andy
