Had a lovely weekend at Julie’s place, spotless place with lots of beautiful homely quirks. The view was gorgeous, albeit the slightly busy road. But lovely to have a private courtyard to sit in the sunshine. Also a bonus to have a freshly baked loaf of bread! Julie had great knowledge of the local area, thanks for letting us check out a little later. Would love to come back again. :)

Julie's listing was exactly as described and a great getaway location for a couple. The place was very cosy and cute with a warm fire, got shower and very comfy bed! Julie was extremely helpful and had loads of suggestions for what to do in the area. check in was really easy and we were welcomed with yummy home made bread! Area was great to drive/walk to a variation of Peak District attractions. Great for us personally going on hikes around the area. The cottage is just outside of Glossop so it's a walkable distance to the town. Overall great stay at Julie's place and would recommend!

I can’t rate Julie high enough! She is a very accommodating host and made sure our stay was peaceful, enjoyable and comfortable from the moment we arrived. There is so much personality and charm throughout the cottages which makes you feel like you are at home, it doesn’t take long to settle in. The location is very idyllic with beautiful scenery and a lovely garden. It’s also convenient enough to access local shops and there are lots of great walking routes nearby. We felt as though we had everything we needed in the cottage for a whole week, there was plenty of room and storage for two of us. There was such a warm, friendly atmosphere for the duration of our stay. Julie has infinite kindness and made our stay very special. The fresh bread she made for us was a treat! Great host, great location and we were sad to leave.

A stunning little cottage, perfect for a getaway for two. Julie was super helpful and quick to reply to messages. And WOW, that view! Such a great location for various hikes and trails.

Lovely couple of weeks away from the city for a bit of space. Great location and very cosy, snug little place. Next to a fairly busy/loud road but Julie is an excellent host and lots of good pubs/walks etc nearby.
