Had a lovely stay at Georgie and Gary’s beautiful cottage. It was extremely clean and had a very homely atmosphere. Will definitely book again on my next trip.
What a beautiful cottage, !! From the decor to the small details and the cleanliness were something else. Georgie and Gary were fantastic hosts, very helpful, responsive and really know how to host an air BnB. Beautiful area, I was staying for work and travel here on a regular basis so I will be sure to booking again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thank you both for a fabulous stay.😊

We recently stayed in Old Glossop and found it to be an excellent location with plenty to do. The nearby restaurant, The Bulls Head, was fantastic for food. The home we stayed in was well laid out with clear instructions from the host regarding parking and how to operate the heating. The property was very clean and equipped with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. We visited during a hot weekend and enjoyed the local walks. Although we were travelling with our 5-month-old, we still managed to get out and about. We would definitely stay again.
Old Brook Cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay in Glossop. We were looking for somewhere within driving distance of Manchester to visit some family and are extremely pleased we found Georgie and Gary’s listing. Old Glossop is around a half hour drive from the centre of Manchester approaching from the east side which was great for us. The property was fantastically well equipped for ourselves and our 1 year old. The property has a brilliant , homely living space which is very relaxing. The kitchen is again spacious and has everything you need. The two bedrooms are both comfortable and also spacious- we set up our travel cot in the second bedroom. The bathroom is one of the most tastefully decorated I’ve ever seen at any air bnb. Georgie and Gary were ultra responsive and provided everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We will absolutely be returning and would highly reccomend the property for any couples or family’s looking for a getaway! Thanks for having us!

Old Glossop is a lovely village, and Old Brook Cottage is in the ideal location as its in the conservation area with three lovely pubs, a vegan cafe and Distant Hills Brewery. The gateway to the Peak District National Park is at the end of our road.
Glossop Town Centre is a 15-minute stroll away with many great local shops, pubs and restaurants. Glossop also has a bunch of supermarkets, including M&S, Tesco, and Aldi & Lidl.
Street parking is available, and a free car park is only 100 meters away. The 390 bus, which will take you into Glossop, is available from outside the cottage, or you can stroll into Glossop in around 15 minutes.
