Giuseppe ist ein äußerst aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Liebevoll renovierte gut ausgestattete Unterkunft mit viel Platz für bis zu 6 Personen hoch am Berg gelegen. Super Blick von überdachter Terrasse, Dachterrasse und Pool über Golf von Neapel mit Proscida, Vesuv, Sorrent, Capri. Giuseppe riet uns im örtlichen Supermarkt in Campagnano einzukaufen und hat die Einkäufe hochgefahren. Zu Fuß sonst 30 Min. bergauftragen. Leihwagen nicht nötig, ab Campagnano fährt ein Bus nach Porto. Vom dortigen Busbahnhof kommt man mit Wochenticket für 15€ über die ganze Insel. Den Pool haben wir gerne genutzt. Die Wassertemperatur entspricht Ende Oktober der nächtlichen Außentemperatur 21°C. Immer etwas Wind, sehr angenehm. Der Agritourismo nebenan vermarktet eigene Produkte incl. Wein. Lecker Mittagessen bei kleiner ausreichender Karte. Spezialität Kaninchen. Erholen, Wandern, Baden, Erkunden -optimal. Epomeobesteigung und Thermenbesuch dringend empfohlen! House is even better than the photos. Equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. Quiet, wonderful views, pool is lovely, local village friendly. We hired electric bikes and managed to get up and down the steep hill happily with teenagers (walking once or twice up the short steep one at the end!). Highly recommended. We would love to return.

Giuseppe met us in the campagnano piazza and took us all up to the house in his jeep, once our bags had all been dropped off he then took us to the supermarket to stock up on provisions. As you will read in other reviews, Torre Mezzo is remote, the walk down to the village and bus stop takes 20 minutes, the walk up takes effort, though there is a more direct ‘cross country’ route that takes you straight up the hill through vineyards on a footpath. We did this twice, both under 15 minutes and is only 700m. Once settled in, you’ll find one of the best furnished Airbnb’s you’ll ever find, plenty of cooking kit though I could only get 2 of the hobs working at the same time. No matter, there is also a wood fired grill - perfect for the local sausages you can buy in town. Literally next door (over the rope and past the chickens) you’ll find a gem of a restaurant. The pool is a welcome addition to return to and the views are likely to be among the best you will ever see from a rooftop terrace

Let’s start with how kind the host is. Very nice guy. But I had to cancel my stay after arriving to the house. I lost a lot of money on this but I had to cancel because I didn’t feel safe driving for a week up this crazy road. It’s listed in the description that it’s a narrow road up but that wasn’t our problem. There are few very sharp turns at the top of the hill that I thought they were too dangerous for my family to do in a manual fiat panda. I think it’s dangerous with any car if you are doing it every day for a week specially at night. Lots of dirt on the road. Makes it slippery. There is no margin for a mistake. I simple didn’t feel like doing this hassle everyday and not enjoying a relaxing vacation. So I decided to loose the money and go to a hotel by the water. Host was very kind and understanding. You can park your car 2km below the house but the hike is very steep not fun to do with bags or after the beach or at night. Its 30 mins to the nice beach area driving
