Near downtown and Nulu, the historic SanLou has been newly (and thoughtfully) designed and renovated to have all the modern amenities you need and want, while keeping the Queen Anne charm. Very walkable with easy access to trendy restaurants, shops and bars. Direct and quick access to I71, I64, and I65. Our home affords you the unique opportunity to stay in a house on the National Register of Historic Places, that was built in 1893 and is a landmark of Butchertown. During your stay you can enjoy the uncounterfeitable historic character with expansive 10' ceilings all original wood accents and features... While simultaneously experiencing the fresh and modern updates and amenities, thoughtfully and expertly designed. Bedrooms are accessed via stairs only. + Start each morning refreshed from the 5-star hotel spa inspired shower or free standing soaking tub. + Inside the kitchen, you'll find all the silverware, pots, pans and plates you need to cook yourself dinner from scratch. Because sometimes we just want a home-cooked meal, right? + Enjoy the outdoors from the private cedar deck and fenced yard which features market lights and expansive modern glass. + Have gatherings and meals around the dining table + The living room is furnished with a comfy sofa where you can relax. Close the pocket doors for additional quiet and privacy. + In terms of amenities, we've got you covered too! (But seriously.) + Sleeping arrangements: There are two queen beds and a comfy couch in the living room (draw straws on who sleeps here). There are two bedrooms upstairs, each has a one bed. Note: we do not permit parties, smoking, or pets of any kind. All guests must be included in the booking. We do no allow photography, filming or shooting content of any kind in our home. We do not allow guests with negative reviews to stay in our home.
