Beautiful surroundings which makes the drive - and finding the place for the first time - all worth it. A great spot to relax but also a good base to visit Belur, Chikmagalur, and Sringeri. Even in high summer, the western ghats here are lush whereby a thousand shades of green surround you. Research beforehand where you want to go/what you want to see to make the most out of being in this region. Take your own towel as this was not provided. WiFi was workable most of the time although ones proximity to the router renders a better service so it may depend on which bedroom you are allocated.

Stayed for a night on an impromptu trip to Chikmaglur. Beautiful country place away from din and bustle in middle of a plantation of coffee. Clean and friendly, nice freshly home cooked food. Added bonus of visiting the 300 year house.

Thank you for a day in our lives in a rural setting! My in-laws loved the coffee estate tour, all the vegetarian meals and your hospitality! My heart melted when the two-year-old labrador, Max came to greet me upon arrival. Giving him belly rubs and playing with him was the highlight of my trip! Thank you for all the caffeine intake!
