When you need a home from home. Somewhere to soak in the bath (bath salts supplied!), cook a meal instead of eating out or just spend a view hours playing an old fashioned board game on a ridiculously comfy sofa. Stratford has so much to see and do, so we offer a welcoming space to retreat to and reset before more sightseeing, work or play. The apartment is slightly outside of the town centre, but only a 10 minute amble (or 8 minutes brisk walk) to Mr Shakespeare’s Birthplace and riverside. The apartment is an older style, not ‘Insta’ chic but it more than makes up for that with great personality. You will feel well cared for with extra special touches to welcome you. There is a few stairs being on the third floor so unfortunately we can’t accommodate wheelchair users or recommend our stay for those with restricted mobility. We are also not pet friendly at this time - sorry :( So, the space. It has a huge lounge dining room with couches to sink into and a large farmhouse dining table for quick breakfasts or elegant dinners. The tv does not have regular terrestrial telly but has access to Netflix. Far more excitingly there is a choice of good old fashioned board games including the Stratford-upon-Avon version of Monopoly!! Wall heaters are controlled remotely for a warm welcome. 2 Double bedrooms (one is very large) with comfortable beds and sparkling linen will ensure you sleep well and wake refreshed. The larger room also has a workspace set up close to the window with a useful supply of stationary. Of course there is a hairdryer, hangers, drawers etc for your use. The full bathroom has proper fluffy towels and a well stocked cupboard of essentials for your use. If you have forgotten something, hopefully you’ll find it here. To help you relax you will also find bath salts, body products and face masks. Moving on to the kitchen, there is a full size fridge and freezer, cooker and hob… oh and a microwave so you can create (only if you want to!). Oils, spices, condiments and sauces readily available. A breakfast muesli is supplied for the first morning with milk (oat if preferred) so that you don’t have to leave the house hungry. PARKING Parking is on road and there is no parking allowed on-site without a permit. Please be aware that if you do use the car park there is a high probability you will receive (a large) fine :( Right outside there are usually spots available but these do have a two hour maximum, I will indícate very close, no maximum parking in your welcome info.
