Generally a really nice stay at this apartment over marathon weekend, and it’s in a great location. The apartment is accurate to the photos and we loved the access to the roof terrace. Would stay again, but I wouldn’t class the amenities as ‘luxury’ (but they could be with some minor improvements). For example, the Kitchen equipment was generally quite sparse - one pan, no microwave, 3 mugs for an apartment that is supposed to sleep 8?! Not usual for an air bnb place. The bed linen also felt cheap and there were a few things that were broken or looked a bit ‘tired’ that could easily be rectified for future guests. Obtaining the key fob from another part of town is pretty inconvenient - there must a closer option than the current one? Also, there was only one lift working (which didn’t have a working light), so the journey up to Level 9 wasn’t a great experience! Overall, it was a good stay and the ‘quirkiness’ of the property and the great views are worth staying here for.

The apartment itself is nice, good location and good for a group stay. However, the check in process was not good - key collection is across town, if not driving this would be incredibly difficult. This was not communicated until the day before or made clear anywhere in the listing, meaning this wasn’t factored in to any plans. The listing offers parking, the day before it was confirmed you have to pay for parking. Unfortunately the lift was out of service - we weren’t informed about this before arrival, this meant 11 flights of stairs - not the end of the world but again should have been informed.

This Apartment was HELL. We had to collect and drop back the keys from the other side of Manchester, 35 minutes away (this is not mentioned when booking). The lift wasn’t working and apparently hasn’t worked for weeks in the building. This meant we had to climb 9 flights of stairs each day and could not return to the apartment. There was only one access fob provided making it impossible to separate into groups and act independently. After you book, they hit you with a £200 deposit which you cannot refuse. Its refundable based on the hosts subjective terms, but it’s probably designed to deter you from writing a negative review (you don’t get it back for 7 days after you drop the keys back to the other side of town when you checkout) The apartment was clean and modern. However, this place was a NIGHTMARE, the lift not working, the key collection and return, the sneaky deposit, all means I would never stay there again and not recommend this place under any circumstances!

Only problem was the lift wasn’t working and it was on the 9th floor so a lot of stairs other than that was perfect👍🏼
