Shakira and Steve's place is fantastic! I come to attend a placement at the Maru koala park, their place is just right behind the park and they kindly lend me the bicycles so I can ride to work, which is just few minutes ride. The house is clean and tidy, with all the things you need. Shakira also takes me to meet their 4 legged family on farm, they look so happy and having a great life here. They also offer to help me bring my luggage to the bus stop which makes my life a lot easier. Thank you guys sooooo much! I missed you a lot and definitely will come back!

Nice location which had everything we needed. Breakfast was provided via white bread, condiments (butter, jam, nutella, peanut butter), cereal, milk, and fresh juice which was especially delicious. The place is set up with three private rooms and a shared living room, dining room, and kitchen which are all quite small but have everything you need. The bed comes with an electric blanket which was great for the cold nights. The kitchen has salt and pepper (no olive oil) with the basic pots and pans and lots of plates, bowls, and cutlery. There is no wifi available but reception is good (for Optus and amaysim at least). Location looks nice and is right next to Maru Park which was great as we were volunteering first. We didn’t get to interact with any of the animals and only had a small chat with Shakira but she was very nice and always responded so quickly. Thank you :)
