Honeybay is the perfect base to explore all that Torbay has to offer with so many attractions within walking distance of the property. From adventurous coastal walks to simply sitting on the downs and enjoying an ice-cream, views and sunshine.
The breathtaking clifftop views of Babbacombe Downs are just a 2 minute walk from the front door, the flat cliff-top promenade and gardens are home to numerous cafes, restaurants and pubs that all offer incredible views across Labrador Bay as far as Portland.
The famous Babbacombe Model Village, Cliff Railway and Babbacombe Theatre are all a short stroll away while the boutique shops and eateries of the pretty St Marychurch precinct are a few minutes further.
The two closest beaches are Babbacombe and Oddicombe which can be accessed by car, Cliff Railway or on foot. Babbacombe Beach is home to the Cary Arms Hotel, Spa and Restaurant while Oddicombe has it’s own lovely restaurant and cafe as well as watersports, beach huts and incredible views. These 2 beaches are connected via a coastal path which takes around 10 minutes to walk.
The local Cary Park play park is just 5 minutes walk from the front door without having to cross any main roads.
Torquay Harbourside and town centre can be found by simply following Babbacombe Road all the way down the Harbour. Here you will find the town’s huge offering of bars, cafes, restaurants and nightlife. Honeybay is the perfect base to explore our wonderful area.
