Make yourself at home by relaxing on the plush furniture or watching movies on the large TV. Prepare elaborate meals or lake picnic snacks in the sophisticated kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances and a floating island breakfast bar. The game room boasts an air hockey/Ping-Pong table and a dart board, perfect for some friendly competition. With four comfortable beds, everyone can get rest after the day's activities. A common sleeping area in the basement has two twin beds and an additional changing room to ensure everyone can gear up to make more beautiful Wisconsin memories in the days ahead! <b>THINGS TO KNOW</b> This property is managed by Vacasa Wisconsin LLC. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. <br/>Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. <br/>Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Big space stocked with lots of kitchen supplies, games to play, fire pit, and all the necessary amenities. While we did stay when it was too cold to swim, it was advertised that we should have access to the garage and supplies inside. I could not figure out how to access the garage. It’s hard talking to basically a robot as a larger company owns this cabin. But it was clean and worth the price, so overall great experience.
No hot water. Had to repair the water heater ourselves and repeatedly continued this repair throughout the stay. We gave the host a chance to come and inspect the unit. They responded for us to check it ourselves. No sidewalk maintenance and no salt provided, even after we notified the host of a fall and kindly requested it. Not until we filed a complaint with Airbnb did they react accordingly. Locked out of the house for an hour at one point until a new code was assigned. No due diligence on the part of the host to ensure this was handled at the time the 2 day extension was granted. Could not add a final day to our stay due to system issues on the host's part. This wasted a min 6 hrs admin time on our end the day prior to checkout. We ended up having to relocate to a hotel our final night Nothing but negative experience in dealing with the host customer service reps. Airbnb was equally poor in handling this situation. Truly the worst experience thus far with any rental.
Loved it!
Host was responsive but sometimes asked redundant questions when I had already provided information. Listing said "Not Refundable" and they stick to this. We had a severe winter storm the weekend I had scheduled. I inquired about possibly changing my reservation and they denied my request. Make sure you buy the cancelation insurance. Had to request somone to come and shovel the sidewalk. No shovel available at the house. Kuerig cups were all hot chocolate except for 1 coffee. Hot chocolate tasted flat with minimal chocolate flavor. Might have been old? Place is adequate and a nice location. In my opinion, with a few minor improvements they could make it a much nicer place to stay.
