As hostels go this was perfect. Cheap, clean and simple We didnt use the communal area but it was large had plenty of cutulery and seating very unique as its an old church even had boardgames and a piano. If we stayed a few nights in sure we would have made use this. Simple check in with a code , clear instructions for things and where things go. On the main street very close to pubs, cafes, shops and access to great walks. Will definitly visit again.

Amazing building and great atmosphere. Denise was extremely welcoming (cuppa on arrival out of the pouring rain) and the hostel was very well equipped. Would recommend !

It's a beautiful, special hostel conveniently right in the middle of the town. We loved the big open communal space and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for our brief visit whilst walking the Coast to Coast path. Thank you Denise!

A lovely Hostel right in the middle of Kirkby Stephen with a very helpful host who will gladly make recommendations of where to go in the local area to eat
