Tina was a wonderful, communicative, warm host. Her place is unique, comfortable, and homey—filled with color, texture, art, books, and thoughtful amenities. The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet. Looking forward to a return visit!
Tina is absolutely fabulous! Her meticulous attention to detail, openness, and generosity made my stay unforgettable. The bedroom is immaculate and overlooks her perennial garden. You’ll wake up to an orchestra of bird sounds. I took advantage of the claw foot tub and breakfast provisions. 10/10
Tina was an amazing host, extremely kind and a wildly interesting person. She has cool eclectic taste and you'll find that a lot inside is impressively made by her! The room itself had the most comfy bed and linens. The house is so peaceful and quiet, I slept so so well! There's an amazing tub in the bathroom where I took the best bath! Everything is so clean and just cozy. Tina leaves a continental breakfast that was perfect to start my day, coffee, yogurt, fruit, granola and croissants. If you decide to go in the warmer months, the garden is stunning! You would love your stay here, don't hesitate to book Tina's wonderful place!
We had a fabulous and cosy stay at Tina’s. Bed was super comfy and had everything you needed. We even got complimentary breakfast! Would highly recommend. Some great hikes and close enough to Hudson to pop in for lunch/dinner!

"I moved to the Hudson Valley from New York City a number of years ago and purchased the 1867 Row house in Athens New York where I designed my home, my art and digital studio and established a serene perennial garden. The garden is open for you to enjoy, weather permitting. During your stay, arrange to take an ART WORKSHOP with me in my studio. For a fee based on a 3 hour class I'll personally instruct you in your choice of basic painting, collage, sculpture or craft-making. I can help you improve your digital skills in Photoshop, digital photography or even selling on eBay. Inquire about the workshops through the message board or Email or call me after you book your room, and we can arrange for your personal workshop. I look forward to hosting you at my B&B and sharing all the beauty and history this region has to offer!" Your host, Tina Chaden is an award-winning multimedia artist. Her work has appeared in galleries and museums across the country as well as a Smithsonian International Traveling Exhibition and a Whitney Museum window installation. In addition to her work in the fine arts, Ms. Chaden is also a graphic designer, photographer, illustrator and stylist whose clients have included magazines such as Discover, Time and Better Homes and Gardens.
