Being one of the most developed and most happening beach towns in Costa Rica, staying in the area of Jaco allows visitors to choose from a wide variety of services. From its central location, diverse activities and proximity to most all of the country's main attractions up to the town’s wide variety of restaurants, boutique shops, banks, grocery stores, day spas cafes and a nearby full service marina, Jaco Beach has something for everyone.

Jaco Bay is at walking distance from the town center (less than 1 mile) and makes moving around easy. You can either walk, rent a bicycle or request a red cab to move around town or go visit other beaches. Nevertheless we recommend you to mobilize using Uber taxi service if you have access to a smartphone device.
If you rent a car it would make everything a lot easier since you will have total freedom to go where you want, whenever you want. Just make sure you leave your car in a proper parking spot and don't ever leave any valuables inside.
