Great location but definitely a much older place in need of TLC. Nice pool but backyard needs a lot of work.

As we entered the property, we were welcomed by a dead mouse the stench was so bad the doors and windows had to be opened when we went upstairs to our room with the balcony there was a stain on the end of the bed sheet. There was so much rubbish under the bed, There was a seat in there, and inside was dirty, yellow pillows, the other bedroom under the blankets had a strand of hair, as one of the other guests went to have a shower they noticed the water wasn’t going down. They pulled the cover off and found a huge clump of hair covering the drain. There was stains and sand on the small couch near the front door. There were handprints all over the oven. The microwave wasn’t cleaned, the entire place needs to be maintenance and cleaned properly. I paid $1200 to stay here and you’d expect to have a clean air BnB , there were two security cameras on the property, which legally need to be disclosed, even if they’re not turned on

Nice place and in an excellent spot. Everything was within walking distance. More suited to kids older than 6 or so I would say. The host was very reachable and helpful.

We had a nice weekend away with the kids, the only downside was the pool under maintenance but Marnie was really accommodating and made every effort to make it up to us. A lovely cottage in a very convenient location.
