The house has rustic charm with easy indoor and outdoor living. There are enough modern amenities to provide comfort and relaxation after a day of exploring and adventuring. Alternatively, this would also be an ideal retreat location. Grizzly Meadows Cottage is tucked into a stand of Cottonwood trees, which creates a sense of privacy and getting-away-from-it-all while still being close to many of the most popular Southwest Montana attractions. The walkway from the carpark to the front porch enhances the sense that you are entering a private retreat. The house can comfortably accommodate up to six guests in two upstairs bedrooms and a twin sofa couch in the downstairs living area. Each upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and the large main bedroom also has a twin portable bed. Both bedrooms have closets with hangers and clothes storage. It is also adjacent to pastureland, where herds of mule deer and elk are often seen grazing. The base price is for up to four guests. We charge $25 extra per person per night for up to six guests.
We had a fantastic time at Grizzly Meadows Cottage. A wonderful way to experience Montana and just a short drive from the Northern Entrance to Yellowstone. Trust Ellen's recommendations, as due to her advice we saw bison, elk, antelope, moose and a grizzly bear during our visit. That on top of the lovely & privately serene nature of the cottage made this trip one we will look to do again at some point!
Very nice cabin, away from everything but close enough when you needed something. Very responsive, helpful host. We will definitely book again.
Fantastic clean rental close to the Park. Great linens. We will definitely be back. Thank you
This remote location is very convenient to Yellowstone park. The house is both rustic and quaint. We had everything we needed to prepare dinner a couple of nights. A cooler was provided and we enjoyed a great picnic in Yellowstone. The porches, both covered on the front and open on the back are where we spent much of our time at the house. There is no light noise, so star gazing was impressive, even from the bedroom window. We enjoyed deer walking past the front porch. We did not see a bear. Ellen was an exceptional host!!!! She provided recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing, which matched our needs well. Communications were timely and helpful. The notebook provided was also a very helpful resource.

自我介绍
I am a New Zealander living between Bozeman, Paradise Valley and Wanaka, NZ with husband Drew and Jack, our dog-child. We are active outdoor enthusiasts and also like to travel. Part of the year we live in our NZ home, and the rest of the year we are based in the Greater Yellowstone Region, tripping around the US and the occasional overseas adventure. Drew is a fly fishing outfitter and naturalist guide and knows the area - and YNP - like the back of his hand. I have also worked in the area as an outdoor professional. We are happy to share any of our knowledge with you. The other thing we love about this area are the cultural opportunities available to residents and visitors. It is home to many artists, writers and musicians, and is a favorite stop for many visiting artists and shows. So whatever type of cultural experience you want - it is likely to be happening somewhere close.
