The space and location fantastic, cleaning was subpar. The house was filthy: front door way, kitchen with fish smell, soiled sponge in kitchen sink, outdoor seating cushions stained/residue. Couches had white dog hair and saliva. Dog poop on grey mat in master bedroom. Laundry machine reeked of mildew. Bed linens smelled like someone’s head on pillow cases and sheets smelled mildew. Cleaning manager sent with supplies and exchanged linens but worse than originals. We disinfected the washing machine and wash the linens again. We were offered to have the cleaning crew re-clean the house but grandkids were already there. We cleaned and disinfected ourselves. Extra supplies given by host. We spent the night at the house but woke up around 2am coughing and wheezing and realized we could not stay. Following morning, we expressed inability to stay. Lane refunded our stay minus one night. This had a negative impact on our entire trip and we ended up entertaining our grandkids in a hotel room.

So Quiet! The whole experience was exactly what we needed to read and relax and take in the absolute breath taking views of the sound, the forest and of course Mt. Rainier! The house felt like we were having a PNW Hampton's experience! So clean, warm, and so much space but still felt so incredibly cozy! We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Lane’s beach house. It was a great layout for our group. Lots of memories were made!

Great location. Cozy and comfy spot. Deck is amazing. Spent a lot of time out there enjoying the sounds of nature. So many birds, and sea lions, and even saw a deer. and what a view! Def at least a four star experience. Was missing just a few items that we'd personally would've loved in regards to amenities. And the electric key lock was a little testy which gave us pause on locking it up when we went out due to being scared of being locked out. However, the owner was incredibly responsive and I'm certain she would've walked us thru it had we continued having an issue with it and called her. She was on top of our other requests and questions. Excellent host. Speaking of excellent host, nice touch with making the key code the last four digits of my phone number. Smart and convenient. All in all, VERY lovely spot and highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy quick getaway from Seattle/Tacoma's bustle.
