Photos showed straw bales but also appeared to be in autumn so thought it was just seasonal decor. It is not! Numerous dried (dead) plants and all the straw made for trips to stores for allergy meds and having rusty antique farm implements about were not the best for small children. Some furniture were not very sturdy and safety was an issue. But with those exceptions, the place was good. Beds were Murphy style and no electrical near the beds for cell phones or medical equipment in the upper bedrooms. Also a curtain would be nice for the loft doors, the living room tv could not be used if that loft bedroom was used. A room darkening curtain there would definitely help! Water heater does need to be replaced and water pressure is very lacking. The hosts were wonderful though! Even set out plastic Easter eggs for the small children that were staying! A very nice and unexpected surprise! Their communications were fabulous! Was nice to have the history of the house in an album.

very communicative and accommodating to our group for the weekend. The home was fantastic and couldn't have been better for what we needed it for.

I know you wont publish this I had my 4 grand children stay and there were 2 loud sump pumps in the bedroom which made alot of noise so we could not use it. The kitchen utensils, pot and pans were dirty, food left in fridge, no dryer as advertised, stairs unsafe, a big disappointment

Everything was good and we enjoyed a lot with the property but bit conserned about washrooms they do have lock to them and it’s bit annoying but everything was good except that.
