Xiaohong’s Airbnb is on my best list. Low budget and high in value. There are two types of Airbnb: the hosts live with you, and the hosts not live with you. Very often, when hosts live with you, everything in the house is nice and clean, but there are a lot rules to limit you. Like only washing once a week etc. For those Airbnb without hosts, you get the freedom, but each guest only uses the facilities, not taking care of them. But in Xiaohong’s Airbnb, I got my full freedom, and clean kitchen & bathroom at the same time. Close to “Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge”, where you can run or hike/walk. Close to Newark Buffet, Legend Hot Pot & Grill etc. all kinds of restaurants. And one more, you can take a chair and sit in the backyard to take sun bath while listening to podcasts… Definitely recommend!

I stayed at this place in Room #5 for about 4 months, and overall I highly recommend it. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the room and the house itself were quite nice. I certainly would stay here again if I were ever back in the area! 5/5 stars! Pros: - Friendly, responsive, accommodating, and helpful hosts. - Nice room, furnished but not too crowded. - Kitchen has utensils and some cooking equipment. - Hosts regularly restock dish soap, paper towels, etc. and help keep shared areas clean. - Strong water pressure. - Walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants; Close to Coyote Hills Park. - In a quiet but nice town. Cons: - The room can get a bit dusty without regular cleaning. - The room can get a bit cramped if you have lots of stuff. - The house is a bit on the small side. - The walls are not very soundproof.
