Old Orchard Beach offers a convenient public transportation system to help you explore the area without worrying about parking. The trolley and bus lines run all day and into the evening, making it easy to visit nearby attractions such as Funtown Splashtown USA and the Maine Mall. In addition, the Amtrak Downeaster train stops in nearby Saco and provides service to Boston and other destinations.
If you do choose to drive, please note that parking in Old Orchard Beach can be tricky during peak season, so plan accordingly. However, our location is a short and scenic drive to Portland, Maine's largest city. While there, you can explore the vibrant Old Port district, take a ferry ride to the nearby islands, or sample some of the famous lobster rolls at one of the many seafood restaurants.
