Our visit to Pilanesberg Private Lodge was fantastic. Perfect for our group of 10, the lodge provided everything we needed and more, making our getaway completely stress-free. The highlights were the beautifully detailed outdoor boma and entertainment areas, which were ideal for evening gatherings. Communication with the host was seamless, and having ranger Jacques on site was a great comfort. We also loved having his expertise on our games drives. We highly recommend this lodge for a great value, top-notch escape and are eagerly looking forward to our next visit!

This lodge is spectacular; we had an incredible and wonderfully relaxing time. Jacques and his team were attentive, accommodating and very helpful; they met and exceeded our expectations. A special word of thanks and praise must go to Jacques, who took us out on several game drives. He is friendly, very knowledgeable and good company all round.

The lodge was incredible and exceeded our expectations. Prior to staying we were able to arrange for check in and a safari guide. Once we arrived, the lodge was easy to find and Karl, our ranger and property manager, met us at the gate! The place was beautiful - a spacious common area and a fully equipped kitchen. What we didn’t expect is we had private bungalows with bathrooms and king beds for each of us, not just rooms! We also didn’t expect it but we had not just daily housekeeping but really all day - tidying up, doing dishes, and even laundry. The best part was Karl. He was not just an incredible ranger able to find the big 5 and explain so much about the animals and landscape, but he lives on property and was there whenever we needed him - bringing more towels, grilling our food for us and even sharing his own personal liquor stash if we needed something. He offered to pick up things in town for us too. He was incredible. Highly recommended this lodge. An awesome experience.
