Loved my stay at this little bungalow!! "Primitive camping" but with secure walls & such beautiful views!!! Consider it a type of glamping! It was SO peaceful and just what I was looking for. Easy drive to Big Bend National which was a win. I'd bring a backup method to showering just in case, as during my stay I didn't have the solar outdoor shower bag. Would stay here again!!

Although the views were absolutely breathtaking this was not at all what we were expecting it is quite literally a Home Depot shed. It is two by fours in plywood with no insulation and the front door is and interior door so do be warned that it looks nice in the pictures but it does get incredibly cold at at night and the blankets they provide are COVERED in other peoples bodily fluids. The other properties were not 150 yards away. They were 100 feet away does not look as nice as the pictures make it out to be. Theres no air circulating other than opening doors/windows. Where the bed went they cut out the 2x4s. Was also told there would be a solar shower, got there and there was nothing in the listing (asked the other rentals and said they noticed the same)just a board and 2 same hooks outside. Be prepared for the stank of the toilet and a gross amount of flies, but better than most bathrooms out here. So do be warned and carefully look at the pictures and other reviews before booking.

While it was difficult to find, with conflicting informations people in the area were helpful and nice as well as our host. Know that it is the desert and compromises have to be made. It was a somewhat cosy stay in a harsh environment.

Natalie and Scott were amazing with communication from checkin to check out! We had such an amazing time! It’s definitely one of the most peaceful places we have ever been. The views were amazing, the little bungalow was small and cute. Perfect for a couples getaway in the desert! I was nervous about the bathroom situation but it actually is super functional/clean for being in the middle of the desert! I definitely recommend taking extra pillows and blankets it your going during the colder months! The bed has a heating pad which worked great! They also have a charging area with multiple usb outlets and a AC outlet powered by solar panels which worked so good! We had no issues! The hammock 10/10 for stargazing 🫶🏻 Lastly! Follow the instructions Natalie and Scott give you. Don’t put any address in as it will take you somewhere else! It’s super easy with the pictures they also provide to get you there accurately! We loved staying here & can’t wait to come back soon!
