Wow, so many great things to say. This place was the perfect spot for us to explore the park as well as lajitas for golfing. We loved the hot shower outside, the abundance of chairs to sit outside and especially the cool AC. Kym’s place had everything we needed to cook small meals, but we chose to eat most of our dinners out. The bed was very comfortable, with plenty of blankets and pillows. Great views and super convenient to the restaurants in the town

Perfectly sweet and private retreat, wildlife abounds and adventure is everywhere. Nicely situated close to both Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park. Great porch to relax, sleep, eat, read, bird watch. Rabbits and roadrunners, thrashers and quail are regular visitors. Night sky watching is exceptional. Kym gave us great recommendations for recreation and dining. Indoors, her place is neat, clean, and completely charming. There’s plenty of storage space for whatever you bring, which I don’t think we’ve ever encountered before in our travels. The kitchen is well stocked. Books and movies are thoughtfully arranged. The bathhouse is a welcome remedy to a long day of hiking, biking, or paddling. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this oasis. Peaceful and serene, and Kym was a perfect host.

Would absolutely stay again! I debated on booking one of the tipi’s or “bubbles” to stay in and I’m so glad we didn’t! Kym’s place was so peaceful and private with plenty of shade! The outdoor kitchen and bed were so cute! The AC was phenomenal!! Kym was the perfect host! We loved our stay! The “driveway” to get back to kym’s place isn’t paved, but we were in a ford fusion and had no problem at all!

We had an amazing stay at Kym's place. Such a unique accommodation and you can't beat the outdoor living spaces. We slept two of the three nights in the porch bed! It was an easy trip into Big Bend NP, and we are so glad we picked the east side versus getting a place in Marathon. Kym was very responsive and proactive with her communication. And compared to other accommodations in Terlingua, the rate was very reasonable - we felt like we got more amenities and had an overall better experience than the other quirky places (mini lodges, yurts, etc.) nearby that we priced out of curiosity. This will be one of our all time favorite Airbnb stays!!
