Walk through the National Trust wooded combe, minutes from the cottage, the lower path leads to a secluded pebble beach, perfect for swimming in the crystal-clear water. Or take the higher path to the cliff and join the South West Coast Path which has spectacular views over Lyme Bay. The Donkey Sanctuary is on the door step. Sidmouth is just 3 miles away and the hopper bus (for a small charge) serves the hamlet in the summer months, taking you into Sidmouth. The Sweetcombe offices are situated across the lane, it would be lovely to meet you.
