Sherri’s home is a wonderful and relaxing place. Sherri was a great host in both the time leading up to our stay (clear instructions, great communication) and during our stay. She offered great suggestions of the surrounding area. Her home is exceptionally peaceful and a great “get away”. Cannot highly recommend her and her home for a stay!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Otter Cliff House. The house and property were beautiful and perfectly situated to enjoy both Acadia and Bar Harbor. Wish the weather had been a bit nicer, but the house was perfect for enjoying family time on those rainy or foggy days. I would absolutely recommend a stay at Sherri’s.

I booked Sherri's place for myself, hubby, our toddler, and my in laws. I've rented places on Mt Desert Island quite a few times and this was by far my favorite. You really feel like you're being invited to stay in a friend's home. There is artwork everywhere and a great selection of books in the living room as well as movies and games. The back patio is incredible and we enjoyed multiple family dinners at the table out there admiring all the flowers in bloom in Sherri's garden. We had a few hiccups when we arrived with a leaky faucet that led to a late check in. Sherri was very responsive and the sink got fixed by the next day. Anytime I texted (ie was looking for the toddler bed) she was very responsive and helpful. She and her partner Ed also went out of their way and helped me find a new favorite lobster pound after I found out the one I had loved for years had significantly bumped up their prices! We're already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a glorious week at Otter Cliff House, hosted by Sherri. I went with my family and we all loved the house. Plenty of room, it was clean and well-furnished. Very private on 2 acres of land and yet we were very close to the Park Look Road and the entrance to the park. A magical week and the house was a part of that; many thanks!
