We had a great stay at our Airbnb in Luquillo and the apartment was for the most part in good condition. The view to the ocean was spectacular! Our only downsides were that the hot water heater was not working, and the Laundry room did not have any laundry detergent for use. Otherwise the host was very communicative and the building staff were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend the Playa Azul complex for your stay in Luquillo!

location is amazing with beachfront view, easy access to rainforest and food. all the amenities you need are there. the facilities are pretty old, elevators being sketchy, we got stuck in the last working one.

This place has an incredible view! The bed is comfy and the location is awesomet. The amenities of this apartment complex are great as well. The one issues we had with this stay was that the shower is a little quirky. You need to let it run on the cold side for a long time in order to get it warm. I also found that was not working and figured out that IF you run the sink on hot for a few minutes, it somehow (maybe) triggers the hot water to the shower...not sure on how that would be possible BUT it worked. The other issue with this place is the elevators are kinda sketchy and sometimes don't show up. The trick with the no show elevator is to walk down one flight of stairs and use the elevator for the even numbers floors...equally as sketchy but it doubles your chances of making it down 20 floors without walking. Of the 4 elevators, 2 were out of order with caution tape on the doors, it does not inspire confidence. The building is old but the people and the security team were awesome!

Last floor apartment with great view Comfortable bed and well equipped Everyone was friendly Pool is nice The apartment complex is old and surely needs some fixing The elevator is slow and sometimes scary to use The apartment is good but could also use some fixes Here’s the trick that worked for us to have hot water in the shower (with little to no water pressure though) : open both kitchen and bathroom sink faucets towards the left and let it run of a few minutes. Then open the shower faucet towards the left as well (the owners guide says right but it doesn’t work) and let all faucets open while you take your shower.
