Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space with great views. The home has all the modern amenities and necessities, but feels like a log cabin thanks to the cedar walls and ceilings throughout. The house sits on 2 acres surrounded by beautiful birch and spruce where one may catch glimpses of Moose, not to mention the Northern Lights. Guests can take in the beautiful views of the Alaskan Mountain Range both from the comfort of the indoors as well as the spacious and inviting deck. The home and location make it feel as if one is living off grid without having to live off grid. It boasts great views all around, but with the convenience of being a quick convenient drive to what the City of Fairbanks has to offer. Depending on how many guests are visiting/booking, there will be 2 bedrooms to choose from, both located upstairs on the second floor. Each bedroom is double occupancy, equipped with 1 queen bed, 2 nightstands, 1 dresser, closet space, fresh lines, blackout drapes, TV, and dedicated thermostat. Both of the bedrooms also have their own full bathrooms conveniently located near said bedrooms, and come stock with standard necessities/amenities. Each bathroom is double vanity, 1 of which is complete with a custom pebbled walk-in shower, while the other is a standard tub/shower. Additionally, the bedrooms conveniently have their own living/family room located right outside the door. This family room will not be used by the hosts. It comes complete with lounge chairs, TV/Entertainment center, piano, guitars, and electronic drum set. Additionally, guests will have access to their own office, also upstairs conveniently located near the bedrooms. The office has a small desk/workspace, as well as ethernet connection even though the whole house has WiFi. All bedrooms, family room and office space upstairs are carpeted, with the bathrooms being tiled. As for the main floor of the house, guests should expect to share the space with the hosts, although the hosts will make every effort to stay out of the way when guests are visiting. That said, guests will have access to another living/family room, equipped with couches and TV/Entertainment Center. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and pantry. The kitchen has top of the line Samsung appliances, and all the pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and small appliances one could ask for. The dedicated dining room has a roomy 8-person farmhouse table. Just off the dining room/kitchen area is access to a newly renovated and spacious deck where guests can enjoy cool summer days, or view the Northern Lights during the winter. There is ample seating, a fire pit, and access to a Treager Smoker/Grill. Finally, on the main floor, guests will have access to the last half-bath as well as a dedicated laundry room with washer and dryer.
