An incredible place to stay for those looking for a quiet getaway. The river and surrounding forests/mountains are stunning…and the guesthouse itself is very cozy!

This was a very peaceful place to stay, right on the Kootenai River. The views were amazing. If you are looking to disconnect and be surrounded by peaceful and beautiful scenery, this is the place for you.

The guest house was homey, and the sleeping area was comfortable. The river view was very pretty. Check-in was a breeze. It would had been more convenient if the place had an electric grill or griddle of some type. There's a George Forman, microwave and a propane bbq grill, so don't plan on making eggs, pancakes or anything that can't be grilled and must be cooked on a flat surface. While there were DVD players, there were no DVDs to watch. Also, deck overlooking the river was great, but there was no guest access to river shoreline, so expect to drive somewhere if you want to put your feet in the water. 10 a.m. checkout seemed very early, especially for Idahoans (since it is 9 a.m. our time). It's tough to set your alarm early when you're on vacation and clean all dishes/appliances/surfaces and get out the door that early. 11 a.m. is the earliest I've typically seen and would be preferable. All in all, it was a nice stay. The house is very cute and location is convenient to falls.

This cozy guesthouse was exactly as advertised. A riverfront porch. Relaxing living area with views. The bed was comfortable and the towels super soft. Teresa was easy to communicate with and always responsive. We had never stayed in a guest house with an owner occupied main house, and we were little worried about privacy. Even though the main house was right next door, we felt like we had our own riverfront oasis.

Tranquil scene directly on the edge of the Kootenai River. The deck is a very enjoyable spot to have dinner while enjoying the view of the gentle flow of the River against the background of the pine forest. The weather was quite warm, and the AC did a good job of keeping us comfortable, especially when trying to sleep. While a functioning cooktop/stove would have been helpful, the microwave and the electric grill provided adequately. The coffee machine makes an excellent brew! Cooking supplies and eating utensils were quite adequate. We were able to prepare and enjoy several meals without difficulty. The bathroom was adequate, although the toilet was very low (I am fairly tall, so I noticed this). With my bad knees, it presented a bit of a challenge, though hardly insurmountable. The bed was comfortable. TV reception was excellent, as was Wi-Fi coverage. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable weekend in comfortable, beautiful, peaceful surroundings. We highly recommend this.
