Relax at this peaceful, tiny-home style guest house. You will feel safe in this gated property, yet you will have lots of space to walk and enjoy the scenery. Only 15 minutes to La Fortuna and many tours. Our place is great for singles, couples or a small family. PLEASE NOTE: 3 adults maximum. Pull out bed is only suitable for children. Top bunk is also most comfortable for children due to low ceiling. There is a bunk bed with a twin on top (best suited for children due to low ceiling). The bottom bunk is a queen. And there is a pull out bed under the queen that is best for a small child because it can only be pulled out a few feet due to space. There is a smart TV with many popular apps like Netflix, Amazon and YouTube. The Wifi is fairly fast at around 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps up. There is a place to put your luggage and hang a few clothes. A kitchen with a cook top range, mini fridge, toaster, blender, coffee maker, microwave and cooking utensils. There is a hot shower with essentials like shampoo, conditioner and body soap.

We really enjoyed our time in Sonafluca with Max and Natalie. Try to stay as long as you can because they are lovely and their place is a small piece of heaven. The accommodation is great, the garden and the view are magnific, and the kitchen includes everything that you need. They take good care of you, suggest places to visit, and are close by, if you need anything. We really enjoyed spending time with them. Thank you Max and Natalie!
We are travelling in Costa Rica and wartes to sleep near de vulcano Arenal. So we choosed this Apartment. We enjoyed talking to the whole family, it was very interesting, we learned a lot, really nice people. Blessings to you and lots of greetings, Marlene

Max y Natalie son unos increíbles anfitriones, el lugar es super hermoso lleno de mucha naturaleza y paz. Super recomendado regresaría nuevamente. El hospedaje cumple y supera las espectativas.

We are located in a rural farming community. There is a local bakery and grocery store about 1.5km down the road. The community is safe and you can enjoy a morning or evening walk along the countryside. It is only a short 15 minute drive to La Fortuna and many tour opportunities. Because we are in a farming community, you may hear farm sounds in the area.
There is free parking within our gated property. It is best to have your own transportation, but there is a local bus that passes by twice a day, morning and afternoon. You can also use a ride service like Uber. We can refer some we know well.

We winter in Costa Rica and summer in Northern Idaho. We enjoy a healthy lifestyle, including healthy eating and exercise. We trust God to lead in our lives and thank him for His blessings. We enjoy unusual accommodations, such as tree houses and such. We are pretty meticulous about cleaning after ourselves and even others occasionally. ;-) So if we stay in your place, rest assured that we will leave it at least as nice as when we arrived. We don't smoke, drink or party. We love traveling. We are able to do this because we operate an online business/ministry providing Christian satellite systems. So we can work from anywhere we have internet access.
