Our romantic cottage is located only 10 km from Lake Balaton, among the hills of Balatonendréd, on a secluded cellar row, next to beautiful vineyards and magical forests where deer and wild boars roam. The press house is an ideal choice for those who want to get away from the city noise and enjoy the beauty of nature. One of the world's most colourful birds, the bee-eaters, flies in flocks over our garden. Additionally, you can even bring your beloved dog with you. Guests can relax in a rustically furnished bedroom, cool in summer and without TV to maintain the romantic atmosphere. However, Wi-Fi is available, making it easy to stay in touch with the outside world. Around the house, you can often get up close and personal with the larger and smaller animals of the woods and fields. Guests can enjoy a kitchen with induction hob and kitchen utensils, but there is also the possibility of cooking on the garden fireplace, bacon roasting. The modern bathroom is located directly next to the entrance of the accommodation unit, off the covered terrace. Parking is available in the enclosed courtyard. On request we can prepare a picnic basket from the products of Somogyi small producers. During the day you can sunbathe in Zamardi on our sun deck. There are many special activities in the area: -beautiful forest starts 2 minutes walk from the house - A scenic, hidden fishing lake and nature trail are less than a 10-minute drive away - a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Balaton within a 20-minute walk - village guest table in Lulla (home-made meals from the garden's fresh produce) 15 min drive - truffle and wild mushroom hunting with dog in the nearby forest - In Jabapuszta, 7 km away, a special little café, also tucked away, where they roast 5 types of Arabica speciality coffee on the spot -Picniqboat: romantic boating and picnic on Lake Balaton at Zamárdin, watching the sunset And if you're looking for a bit of hustle and bustle, the biggest open-air beach on Lake Balaton is just a 15-minute drive away in Zamardi, and you can splash around in the lake. And in Zamárdi, there are plenty of popular music festivals to enjoy this summer, including Balaton Sound and ZamJam, and you can also spend the evening in a retro open-air cinema.

A unique place surrounded by nature, very peaceful and relaxing. You can really breathe here and forget about everyday life. I highly recommend it. Abel and Anita are wonderful hosts, they take great care of their guests. I also recommend taking advantage of local attractions.
Klein, aber sehr fein! Liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen in idyllischer Umgebung mit voll ausgestatteter Küche und feinem Bad. Prima Kommunikation und persönliche Übergabe durch Anita. Lohnenswert der Picknickkorb für 30 Euro mit lokalen Leckereien und Wein. Absolutes Naturhighlight war das Röhren der Hirsche in nahegelegenem Wald… wir hatten Entschleunigung pur!
Ábel and Anita are perfect hosts. Helpful and friendly. Their place provides not only amazing nature views and cozy atmosphere but also vast amount of outdoor activities. Absolutely astonishing experience.
Wir waren für zwei Tage mit unseren Hund in der Unterkunft. Diese Unterkunft ist perfekt wenn man Ruhe braucht, die Natur genießen möchte oder für ein Barbecue im Sonnenuntergang. Es ist sehr Privat und man fühlt sich direkt wie Zuhause. Der See ist mit den Auto ca. 10-20 min entfernt je nachdem zu welchen Beach man möchte. Wir haben einige Begegnungen mit Tieren gemacht zum Beispiel mit Rehe. Die zwei Tagen haben wir mit einen kleinen Kater vom benachbarten Grundstück verbracht den wir sofort ins Herz geschlossen haben. Gut zu wissen ist das der Weg über eine Schottertraße führt, die mit einen normale Auto aber vollkommen zu bewältigen ist. Außerdem sollte man im Sommer natürlich auf insekten vorbereiten sein wenn es einen stört.
Breathtaking accommodation in a cozy cottage in the middle of nowhere. Absolutely quiet location, but in which nothing is missing at all. Both Abel and Anita were very helpful and communicative hosts. They advised on everything that was needed. Wi-Fi wasn't very strong, but it was sufficient for most activities. Given the location, it's a miracle there's a working connection at all. Highly recommended.

If you're drawn to the bustling world of Lake Balaton, the waterfront is just a 15-minute drive away, while a hidden, picturesque fishing lake awaits explorers just a ten-minute drive away.

I'm your 25 year old Hungarian host, Ábel born and living in Budapest. I am an aviation and travel addict so it's no surprise that I studed tourism.
