Peaceful Countryside Retreat. Rural farmhouse offering a cosy boutique first floor two room apartment with its own kitchenette. A place to base and explore, work from or to unwind after work. Our place is a smallholding and have two vintage tractors that still do the work. Walks in the countryside directly from the doorstep along footpaths and canal towpaths and many other attractions. A great place to unwind, but we also benefit from fibre broadband so also a great place to work! Guests have private occupancy of the annexe as rooms are accessed through a completely separate entrance door to which you have your own key. The two rooms are configured as an apartment and are up a small flight of stairs. One room has a double bed and ensuite bathroom and the other has a sofabed/ lounge/diner overlooking the countryside and the historical Bosworth Battlefield. The space is ideal for two guests, one in each room or two in the double room and use the lounge/diner as the day room. There is a small dining table in the sofabed/lounge area. The kitchenette is completely self contained and houses a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, fridge, freezer, induction plate and combo oven/grill/microwave and is situated on the ground floor as you enter. Everything you need in one small space.

I had a great stay at Apple Orchard Farm. It was very peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful. Helen was a very attentive and helpful host, I would definitely stay again.

We were very comfortable at the annexe - just as pictured, it’s very well-appointed, with everything you could possibly need for either a short or a longer stay. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful basket of breakfast options and milk waiting for us in the fridge, and that Helen even dropped by some fresh eggs for us, as well as proactively providing a baby gate to ensure our rambunctious toddler didn’t take a tumble down the stairs! She was a kind and gracious host who went out of her way to ensure we were all set during our stay. Highly recommend. Thank you, Helen.

Absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!!!! The Annex at Apple Orchard Farm is immaculate and beautifully renovated with real attention to detail. The ensuite for each room was a real bonus and the kitchenet just brilliant. Greeted by Helen and Glenn and a basket of wonderful provisions. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay would highly recommend. Our space is rurally situated, but within walking distance of Dadlington and The Dog and Hedgehog pub. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the village along the Fenn Lane.
The village of Stoke Golding is a little further, a longer walk of around 20 minutes, along footpaths that take you along meadows and canal tow paths. There is a corner shop, hairdresser, beauty room and eateries in Stoke Golding too.
Other villages close by are Sutton Cheney, where there are two pubs, The Hercules Revived and The Royal Arms. Sutton Cheney is around 2 miles away and enroute along the Fenn Lane you will find Sutton Wharf, a canalboat wharf and cafe. Lunch here and feed the ducks too!
Shenton is a very pretty conservation village and can be reached from the doorstep along the footpath which takes you through fields and lanes. In Shenton you will find Whitemoors Antique Centre and Cafe.
Hinckley centre is around 4 miles away and Morrisons Supermarket, Fields Gym and Macdonalds are 3 miles away. So although in such a peaceful environment here, we are well within reach of all amenities.

Parking available in the yard and enough room for larger vehicles. Cycling is popular in the area and we are happy to store bikes for you. There is a bus network from Dadlington which is a 10 minute walk along the lanes.
