This 285 sq. ft. abode, perfect for couples, offers a cozy queen bed, an efficiency kitchen with essentials, WiFi, and a 43” Roku TV. Enjoy the unique blend of tranquility and adventure in this idyllic Alaskan retreat. Welcome to Scenic Solstice, your perfect getaway after exploring the beautiful state of Alaska. You’ll pull right up to your 285 sq. ft. oasis, which is conveniently lit up for easy access during the long, dark winter days. Although it's a part of our property, it's a stand-alone unit, with its own private drive - offering you the privacy and convenience you need. This cozy studio space is designed to accommodate two guests comfortably. You'll enjoy the convenience of an all-in-one living space, including a versatile efficiency kitchen with an induction cooktop, Instapot, and microwave. The kitchenette is serviceable and fully stocked with essentials, but please note that there is no oven or dishwasher. The dining table for two is perfect for enjoying a meal together or setting up your laptop to get some work done. You'll also find a smaller fridge for storing your cold beverages and food during your stay. The 43” Roku TV is fully adjustable, making it visible from the bed or the seating area, where you can relax and take in the beautiful views outside while sipping on coffee from the stocked coffee bar or your beverage of choice. With drawers and hanging space available, you can unpack and feel right at home. A small ironing board and iron are available, as well. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway or looking for a quiet retreat to work remotely, Scenic Solstice offers a cozy spot for your stay in Eagle River. Please note that our space is suitable for two guests only, and we cannot accommodate children under 12, events, or parties due to limited parking. I think this was the most functional, well thought out BnB I have ever stayed at. It makes the absolute best use of the space to provide everything needed in a very functional and intuitive way that makes you forget you’re in a tiny home. We were extremely impressed by this and the cleanliness, so much so that we did our best to keep it as clean as possible while we were there! It’s very homey and obviously the natural surroundings are gorgeous. The Eagle River restaurant recommendations made by the hosts in their guide were both fabulous- Pomodoro (Italian) and Da J3rk (Jamaican). The location was ideal for us as there are options for outdoor activities/trails nearby, yet Anchorage is only about 20 mins away, so it’s easy to vary activities. Not to mention, the hosts were extremely responsive and attentive. Considering the price point and everything else mentioned, we’d stay here again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend it to anyone else.
This is one of my favorite Airbnb that I've ever booked throughout. I can't describe in words. The space was clean and perfect for the two especially couples or even friends. Waking up to a beautiful view, convenient to the grocery and going into the city of Anchorage. Anything you can think of may be a necessities is provided such as umbrellas, slippers, utensils of all kind. Those are somethings we thought that the host is so great at providing these type of things which is uncommon to use but may come in handy when needed. Hosts were incredible and responded fast to provided with anything needed. We loved this spot and would highly recommend for those who are staying in Anchorage or nearby to book this spot!
We absolutely love staying at Michael and Rachel’s Scenic Solistice tiny home. It has everything and more. Such attention to detail, nothing is overlooked! Well stocked kitchen with high end appliances and amenities, like a heated towel rack! We’ll be back!
The space was very thoughtfully designed and decorated and very comfortable to stay, with all the details taken care of. We really enjoyed it!! The host were very friendly and responsive, providing many useful tips!
It was beautiful and it had more amenities than I was expecting! The way the house was set up made it seem really spacious, and the lighting was done so well! It had all of the appliances I needed and they so kindly shoveled for us in the morning of our departure. Would recommend and will return one day!

We are located just about 15 miles from Anchorage in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. You'll enjoy fantastic mountain views with the occasional moose sighting. In the winter months, you may even get to experience the Northern Lights! Walmart is less than a mile from the property, with Carr's (Safeway) and Fred Meyer also nearby. Matanuska Brewing Company is also close-by that features an awesome outdoor concert series in the summer.
Taxi cabs, Lyft and Uber are typically available with varying wait times (can be up to 20+ minutes in some cases). A taxi/Lyft/Uber fare from the airport can be $60+, therefore a rental car is recommended. Rental cars and Turo are available, however in peak season (May 15 - Sept 15), car rentals fill up very quickly, so make your car reservations with as much advance notice as possible. If you are renting a car in the winter months, we recommend you request a vehicle with studded (not all-season) tires, as it will make getting around with snow and ice on the roads easier.

We're always happy to share tips and tricks with our guests on how to grow their own gardens, and we may even offer some fresh produce or fresh cut flowers from our garden during your stay! Our home is located in the picturesque Eagle River, surrounded by the majestic Chugach Mountains. Our quiet and peaceful neighborhood is perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We're fortunate to have a tiny home on our property, which was once a hair salon and now serves as a cozy and comfortable Airbnb rental.
